Course Details

What you'll learn

In this bonus session, we will go through the recent NDIS changes and what they mean for funding driving assessments, specialised driving instruction, and possible vehicle modifications. You’ll learn about quarterly fund releases, why front-loading matters, and how to write clear, specific driving goals to improve the likelihood of approval.

Aside from that, you will also learn how to advocate for your teen at planning meetings, what to request in your plan, and why a Driver Trained Occupational Therapist assessment is essential before specialised lessons can be funded. This session will help you approach your next NDIS review feeling informed, prepared, and confident.
