Driving Into Independence

They’re close to their Ps… but are they ready for what comes next?

Getting the licence is just the start, real-life driving brings new challenges.

Too often, learners get their Ps… then quietly step away from driving. Not because they’re unwilling — but because the support ended at the test. This stage is designed to keep them moving forward — helping your teen stay on the road and in control of their journey.

In Stage Three, we focus on what lies beyond the test:

  • Test Readiness — Help your teen stay calm under pressure, recover from setbacks, and tackle challenges with growing confidence
  • Life Skills with a Car — From fuelling up to basic maintenance, we teach essential skills in a way that’s structured, accessible, and supportive of diverse learning needs
  • Driving Into Adulthood — Explore safety, self-regulation, daily routines, and how driving connects to identity, independence, and real-world responsibilities

Research shows that many drivers who process the world differently often approach driving with more caution — they may have fewer speeding fines, yet still find complex traffic situations (like U-turns or right turns) more challenging. With the right scaffolding, these hurdles can be overcome with clarity and confidence.

✅ Perfect for families nearing the final stretch, looking to support a smoother, more confident transition into independent driving and adult life.
